Innovation and business, leitmotiv of Nutraceuticals Europe 2018

Nutraceuticals Europe opens its doors in the Ifema premises in Madrid, to celebrate for two days a second edition that expects to increase the numbers of its first edition. The organization expects to receive more than 2,000 professionals who will discover the novelties in functional ingredients and novel ingredients presented by a hundred exhibitors. Tecnifood (stand B29), preferent media partner of the event, is once again a direct witness of the development of the event

With the participation of nearly one hundred exhibiting companies, which represents a growth of over 60% compared to its first edition in 2017, Nutraceuticals Europe Summit & Expo 2018 (NTC Europe), opens its second call, exceeding almost twice the growth of initial expectations of the organization, Aude Business Events.

Microencapsulated solutions are one of the leading trends in the offer, given their growing demand, since they allow a better and more accurate dosing, while allowing to prolong the action of functional ingredients

Also, the event of functional ingredients and novel ingredients, which is being held in Madrid, on 14 and 15 February 2018 under the slogan ‘Innovation & Business’ plans to increase the number of professional visitors by more than 25%. In the opinion of the organization “the results of the first edition provide a solid basis for growth and the objectives for this new appointment are due to the high levels of satisfaction evidenced in the surveys of the participants of the first edition”. According to the same, 69% of the professionals who attended the call had the capacity to decide on the purchase of ingredients and 21% were confirmed as “influencers” of the decision making. Specifically, 40% of the visitors were CEOs or CEOs, 29% were directors of the R & D & I area and 18% were technical directors or those responsible for product development. Another noteworthy fact is that 86% of the attendees had as main objective the identification of suppliers of functional ingredients.

This year, NTC Europe once again, gives visibility to the latest developments in beneficial solutions for health, among which this time highlights the ingredients aimed at improving the immune system, digestive or eye health, as well as microencapsulated solutions, each more demanded since they allow a better and more precise dosage, while allowing to prolong the action of the functional ingredients. These and other trends will be present at the show, from renowned operators such as Innovafood, Comercial Química Massó, Disproquima, DKSH, Galenicum Special Ingredients, IGH Flavors & Technology, IMCD, Inquiaroma, Kemtia, Metarom, Pharmafoods, Rettenmaier Ibéria, Ricardo Molina, Safic Alcan, Solchem Nature or Trades, among others.
